A few months ago, I embarked on a writing adventure with a purpose — to share my personal experiences and insights centered around leadership and self-development. Initially, my primary audience was on LinkedIn, where I’ve been fortunate to receive an overwhelming amount of positive feedback and engagement. Encouraged by this response, I decided to expand my reach and bring my content here to Medium. I invite you to read and savor the articles, and I hope they inspire and resonate with you as much as they have with others. Enjoy the journey!
Tips for fresh MBAs/graduates on navigating life after school.

Dear esteemed MBA/University Graduates in my network,
Congratulations on completing one of the most challenging yet rewarding milestones in your life! I am thrilled to see you embark on the next phase of your career journey.
As you enter the workforce, I wanted to share some advice that I have learned along the way.
1.) BE BOLD & TAKE RISKS:
Don’t be afraid to take risks and try new things. Your education has equipped you with the skills and knowledge to tackle any challenge that comes your way, so don’t shy away from opportunities that may seem daunting at first.
2.) IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS:
Be open to learning and growing. The business landscape is constantly evolving, so it’s essential to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies to stay relevant in your field. Identify skills that are essential for success in your industry, such as communication, leadership, and project management. Create a plan to improve those skills by taking online courses or workshops, and seek feedback from colleagues or mentors.
3.) BE A LEADER:
Take charge of your career. Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want or need. Whether it’s a new assignment, project or promotion, speak up and let others know what you’re working towards. Always do what’s expected of you, and more. Being a great team member doesn’t end with your work responsibilities; it’s also about supporting others in their efforts.
4.) NETWORK:
Connect with others in your field through social media, conferences, and meetups. It’s important to build relationships with people who share similar interests and goals, so you can learn from each other and collaborate on new projects. Networking is an important part of career success, so make sure to attend industry events, join professional organizations, and connect with people in your field.
5.) HAVE MENTORS:
Find people who have been in your shoes and can offer guidance on how to navigate the challenges you’re facing. Mentors can help you find new opportunities, develop a growth strategy, or provide feedback on your work. They can be found in a variety of places, including your professional network, industry events, and social media. A mentor doesn’t have to be someone who is senior to you in their career; it could also be someone who has a different job function but shares your interests.
6.) KNOW YOUR VALUES:
Finally, always stay true to your values and ethics. It’s easy to get caught up in the rat race, but always remember to act with integrity and respect towards others. You will find that being honest and fair in your work will make you a better leader, and it will also help you create more meaningful relationships with others.
I hope this advice helps you in your career journey. Remember that success is not a destination but a journey, so enjoy the ride and never stop learning!
