North Mondays Series: Episode 47
The Honest Episode: Why I write with AI

Oya oya you’ve caught me; I’ve been using AI for writing, but hear me out!
Why strain your brain when you have the option not to, especially when the ideas and thought processes are yours? After all, there’s no paycheck for overworking it, is there?
However, I’ve been struggling with a sense of guilt lately, realizing I haven’t been fully authentic in my content creation.
While it’s evident I’m a deep thinker, juggling a 9–5 and staying consistent leaves little room for expressing my true self. You wan kill me?
But consider this: AI isn’t about outsmarting or contradicting human intelligence. It’s aptly named “Artificial Intelligence” because it’s the culmination of years of rigorous research by brilliant minds.
For as long as I can remember, the world has been waiting for this revolution and it’s so beautiful to see it is finally here.
So why do we suddenly view its capabilities as detrimental?
My mind is always buzzing with ideas, yet I lack the skills to articulate them as well as AI, so I see it not as a competitor but as a collaborator, aiding me in conveying my thoughts to the world.
The contents I share are mine but not just in my words, do you get it now? and I think that is totally fine. Not all of us are wordsmiths or have the power to construct English in such a glorious manner that it begins to sound like music to the ears of the reader, but it shouldn’t hinder us from imparting wisdom or voicing our perspectives.
That’s precisely why I regard AI as a valuable asset, saving both time and effort because countless individuals have poured their dedication into developing this technology, and dismissing it due to concerns about laziness would be unfair.
For those like myself who cherish knowledge, let’s be less concerned about AI encroaching on job opportunities or making it tougher to get by. Instead, let’s embrace it as an ally in our quest for wealth creation and intellectual enrichment.
But tell me, what are your thoughts? I really want to hear them.
